The Igorots, which comprises numerous tribes in the Northern Part of the Country Philippines, are mostly residing in the mountain ranges of the Cordillera Region. They are known for being rice cultivators. An assortment of the tribe called the Ifugaos built the Banaue Rice Terraces- often called the 'eighth wonder of the world' - is believed to have been constructed 2,000 years ago. Ifugao culture is classified into two: 
 
The tangibles, which include the rice terraces and towns and the intangibles, which are the chants, playing the gongs, dances and other cultural practices. Which are now greatly conserved, preserved and maintained.
